hm, biggest blizzard in the history of long island :o

i must say, the collection turned out most excellently:D

it actually wound up being a tribal/cultural fusion themed collection with

some feminine touches.

it's called de femme de tribu (women of the tribe)

of course the day of my final class we get hit with this massive blizzard

and f.i.t is closed -_-

hopefully email will do the work justice:)

as far as winter threads go,

i've been wearing a whole lot of my dad's stuff.

oversized sweaters, flannels, etc.

definitely gonna take a trip to urban tomorrow though

and see what's going on with that:)

For F.I.T, my final course project is to design a fashion line.

I'm going to start on it, Spanish inspired, 1940's, so stoked:)

The satellite radio's been set to the 40's station, especially on the rainy days.

Lately I've been pulling a lot of inspiration (fashion-wise) from the 1920-1940's era.

In my most recent intimate apparel sketches, everything feels very feminine & glamorous.

Basically a lot of lace, bows, suede, furs, feathers, pearls, and chiffon.
